What is Heroes Dragons?
Heroes & Dragons is a visually appealing game, seemingly well-made with minimal bugs. However, its core gameplay is significantly hampered by a pay-to-play (P2P) model. While not inherently “bad,” the game severely restricts play time for free-to-play (F2P) users. Energy, required for gameplay, depletes rapidly, forcing players to either wait for slow regeneration or purchase expensive crystals to refill. This paywall extends beyond optional summons; it directly impacts the ability to play the game for even an hour at a time.
The progression is further stifled by the rarity of powerful heroes. Epic and Legendary heroes are exceptionally difficult to obtain without spending money. Legendary heroes, crucial for competitive play, have a minuscule 0.05% chance of being summoned, rising to a slightly better 6% chance through a monthly special summon or a $10 purchase. The automatic gameplay features are inconsistent. Manual mode, designed for player control, is not fully implemented. Summoned mini-creatures remain AI-controlled, and the AI will override player positioning, making it difficult to plan any strategy.
