What is E T E Chronicle?
E.T.E. Chronicle is a game set in a near-future world dominated by powerful chaebols, where political power has been usurped by corporate giants and conflicts constantly erupt over resources. The central conflict revolves around the Igodra Corporation and the “Human Alliance,” a coalition of rival chaebols.
Igodra’s rise to power began with the discovery of alien technology, including the mysterious Delta particle, which enabled them to create the Aita, a powerful tactical exoskeleton. This technology granted Igodra an overwhelming military advantage, leading them to establish the Gray City, a strategic orbital base, and threatening the other chaebols’ interests.
The Human Alliance formed to counter Igodra’s dominance. After a costly war, they managed to cripple Gray City. However, the war also led to the capture of Igodra’s artificial life form, 01. This gave the Human Alliance access to Delta technology. They developed their own Aita, and ultimately broke Igodra’s monopoly on Delta technology. Now, both the Human Alliance and Igodra Corporation stand in a state of confrontation, each possessing Delta-powered forces and vying for supremacy. This sets the stage for the game’s narrative of conflict and technological advancement.
